Annie
Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actress who is famous for her
performance as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 and for the
motion capture and voice work for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video
game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised
there. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the
Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. Star Trek: Enterprise was
her first act. She was able to appear in guest roles on shows such as Charmed
and Killer Instinct. She also appeared on Supernatural. She played Amelia
Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime's soap series General Hospital
from March 2007 to November 2007. She has also worked in theaters , including
Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah Shakespearean
Festival During her youth, she competed in Irish dance and was a part of the
St. Louis Celtic StepdancersShe has received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Following her
two-season stint on 24, Wersching played a guest role on numerous shows which
included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof,
Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which
includes her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she appeared as a regular
series participant on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime program Bosch. Wersching was
the National League's catcher on 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity
Softball Game. In December 2012, it was discovered that Wersching was the voice
actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us.
Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's Twitter page before she was made
public in the story trailer shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7,
2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching is set to play the Borg
Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard
